REST-regulated protein degradation and cellular stress

This module contains 11 genes including REST, STK38, MIA3, UBE2K, and CLPX, with top enriched terms related to protein ubiquitination, proteasomal degradation, and cellular stress responses. Knockdown of REST activates this module, while knockdown of SOX2 and NANOG repress it. These results suggest that REST normally suppresses genes involved in protein quality control pathways during early endoderm differentiation.
