Endoplasmic reticulum stress response and protein folding

This 24-gene module includes HSPA5, CALR, XBP1, and HSP90B1, and is strongly enriched for endoplasmic reticulum (ER) lumen localization, ER stress response, protein folding in the ER, and the ERAD pathway, indicating a coordinated ER proteostasis program. No transcription factors show activation of this module upon knockdown. Knockdown of MYNN represses this module.
