Mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation and respiratory chain

This 16-gene module includes MT-ATP6, MT-ND4, MT-ND2, and MT-CO1, and is enriched for respiratory chain complex components, proton transmembrane transporter activity, and oxidative phosphorylation. The genes show strong enrichment for ATP synthesis coupled electron transport and aerobic respiration functions. Knockdown of SOX17 activates this module.
