DNA repair and nucleotide excision responses

This 34-gene module includes ERCC1, MAP2K2, GLUL, and TADA3, with top enrichment in nucleotide excision repair, DNA repair, and response to DNA damage. Knockdown of SOX17 activates this module, while knockdown of NANOG and OCT4 represses it. This suggests the module is normally suppressed by pluripotency factors and becomes active as cells commit to endoderm differentiation.
