Ubiquitin-mediated protein degradation and translation

This 12-gene module includes RALA, UBE2N, GSPT1, UFD1, and UBE2D1, with enrichment in ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic processes and translation termination. Knockdown of SOX17 activates this module, while knockdown of EOMESODERMIN, MIXL1, and GATA4 repress it. This pattern suggests the module represents housekeeping functions in protein quality control that are suppressed during endoderm specification.
