ATP6AP2
ATPase H+ transporting accessory protein 2 | (P)RR, APT6M8-9, ATP6M8-9, M8-9, PRR, RENR, ATP6IP2

This gene encodes a protein that is associated with adenosine triphosphatases (ATPases). Proton-translocating ATPases have fundamental roles in energy conservation, secondary active transport, acidification of intracellular compartments, and cellular pH homeostasis. There are three classes of ATPases- F, P, and V. The vacuolar (V-type) ATPases have a transmembrane proton-conducting sector and an extramembrane catalytic sector. The encoded protein has been found associated with the transmembrane sector of the V-type ATPases. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

ATP6AP2 — as a Regulated Gene

TFs regulating ATP6AP2 0 TFs

Transcription factors with Perturb-seq knockdown data for ATP6AP2. The Binding column indicates whether any binding evidence exists for this TF–gene pair (ChIP-seq or motif footprint peaks). The Mean coef is the average Perturb-seq regression coefficient across active gRNAs (positive = ATP6AP2 upregulated upon KD; negative = downregulated). The Outlier column indicates whether this gene is in the top or bottom 5% of all TF knockdown effects.

Elements linked to ATP6AP2

Open chromatin peaks (ATAC-seq) in the genomic neighbourhood of ATP6AP2, linked by TSS proximity or chromatin conformation (Multiome / HiCAR). Each element overlaps at least one TF ChIP-seq binding site — the TFs column shows how many distinct TFs bind that element.
