ARHGAP24
Rho GTPase activating protein 24 | DKFZP564B1162, FLJ33877, FilGAP

This gene encodes a Rho-GTPase activating protein, which is specific for the small GTPase family member Rac. Binding of the encoded protein by filamin A targets it to sites of membrane protrusion, where it antognizes Rac. This results in suppression of lamellae formation and promotion of retraction to regulate cell polarity. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2016]

ARHGAP24 — as a Regulated Gene

TFs regulating ARHGAP24 0 TFs

Transcription factors with Perturb-seq knockdown data for ARHGAP24. The Binding column indicates whether any binding evidence exists for this TF–gene pair (ChIP-seq or motif footprint peaks). The Mean coef is the average Perturb-seq regression coefficient across active gRNAs (positive = ARHGAP24 upregulated upon KD; negative = downregulated). The Outlier column indicates whether this gene is in the top or bottom 5% of all TF knockdown effects.
