ZC4H2
zinc finger C4H2-type containing | HCA127, KIAA1166, MCS, MRXS4, WWS

This gene encodes a member of the zinc finger domain-containing protein family. This family member has a C-terminal zinc finger domain that is characterized by four cysteine residues and two histidine residues, and it also includes a coiled-coil region. This protein has been detected as an autoantigen in hepatocellular carcinoma patients. This gene has been identified as a potential candidate for X-linked cognitive disability. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2011]

ZC4H2 — as a Regulated Gene

TFs regulating ZC4H2 0 TFs

Transcription factors with Perturb-seq knockdown data for ZC4H2. The Binding column indicates whether any binding evidence exists for this TF–gene pair (ChIP-seq or motif footprint peaks). The Mean coef is the average Perturb-seq regression coefficient across active gRNAs (positive = ZC4H2 upregulated upon KD; negative = downregulated). The Outlier column indicates whether this gene is in the top or bottom 5% of all TF knockdown effects.

Elements linked to ZC4H2

Open chromatin peaks (ATAC-seq) in the genomic neighbourhood of ZC4H2, linked by TSS proximity or chromatin conformation (Multiome / HiCAR). Each element overlaps at least one TF ChIP-seq binding site — the TFs column shows how many distinct TFs bind that element.
