WDR49
WD repeat domain 49 | FLJ33620

This gene encodes a member of the WD repeat protein family with nine WD repeats. WD repeats are minimally conserved regions of approximately 40 amino acids typically bracketed by gly-his and trp-asp (GH-WD), which may facilitate formation of heterotrimeric or multiprotein complexes. Members of this family are involved in a variety of cellular processes, including cell cycle progression, signal transduction, apoptosis, and gene regulation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2017]

WDR49 — as a Regulated Gene

TFs regulating WDR49 0 TFs

Transcription factors with Perturb-seq knockdown data for WDR49. The Binding column indicates whether any binding evidence exists for this TF–gene pair (ChIP-seq or motif footprint peaks). The Mean coef is the average Perturb-seq regression coefficient across active gRNAs (positive = WDR49 upregulated upon KD; negative = downregulated). The Outlier column indicates whether this gene is in the top or bottom 5% of all TF knockdown effects.

Elements linked to WDR49

Open chromatin peaks (ATAC-seq) in the genomic neighbourhood of WDR49, linked by TSS proximity or chromatin conformation (Multiome / HiCAR). Each element overlaps at least one TF ChIP-seq binding site — the TFs column shows how many distinct TFs bind that element.
