SLC6A15
solute carrier family 6 member 15 | FLJ10316, NTT73, SBAT1, V7-3, hv7-3

This gene encodes a member of the solute carrier family 6 protein family which transports neutral amino acids. The encoded protein is thought to play a role in neuronal amino acid transport (PMID: 16185194) and may be associated with major depression (PMID: 21521612). Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2012]

SLC6A15 — as a Regulated Gene

TFs regulating SLC6A15 0 TFs

Transcription factors with Perturb-seq knockdown data for SLC6A15. The Binding column indicates whether any binding evidence exists for this TF–gene pair (ChIP-seq or motif footprint peaks). The Mean coef is the average Perturb-seq regression coefficient across active gRNAs (positive = SLC6A15 upregulated upon KD; negative = downregulated). The Outlier column indicates whether this gene is in the top or bottom 5% of all TF knockdown effects.

Elements linked to SLC6A15

Open chromatin peaks (ATAC-seq) in the genomic neighbourhood of SLC6A15, linked by TSS proximity or chromatin conformation (Multiome / HiCAR). Each element overlaps at least one TF ChIP-seq binding site — the TFs column shows how many distinct TFs bind that element.
