WFIKKN1
WAP, follistatin/kazal, immunoglobulin, kunitz and netrin domain containing 1 | RJD2, WFDC20A, WFIKKN, C16orf12

This gene encodes a secreted multidomain protein consisting of a signal peptide, a WAP domain, a follistatin domain, an immunoglobulin domain, two tandem Kunitz domains, and an NTR domain. These domains have been implicated frequently in inhibition of various types of proteases, suggesting that the encoded protein may be a multivalent protease inhibitor and may control the action of multiple types of serine proteases as well as metalloproteinases. WFIKKN1 — as a Regulated Gene

TFs regulating WFIKKN1 0 TFs

Transcription factors with Perturb-seq knockdown data for WFIKKN1. The Binding column indicates whether any binding evidence exists for this TF–gene pair (ChIP-seq or motif footprint peaks). The Mean coef is the average Perturb-seq regression coefficient across active gRNAs (positive = WFIKKN1 upregulated upon KD; negative = downregulated). The Outlier column indicates whether this gene is in the top or bottom 5% of all TF knockdown effects.

Elements linked to WFIKKN1

Open chromatin peaks (ATAC-seq) in the genomic neighbourhood of WFIKKN1, linked by TSS proximity or chromatin conformation (Multiome / HiCAR). Each element overlaps at least one TF ChIP-seq binding site — the TFs column shows how many distinct TFs bind that element.
