NSUN5
NOP2/Sun RNA methyltransferase 5 | FLJ10267, NOL1R, NSUN5A, Ynl022cL, p120(NOL1), WBSCR20, WBSCR20A

This gene encodes a member of an evolutionarily conserved family of proteins that may function as methyltransferases. This gene is located in a larger region of chromosome 7 that is deleted in Williams-Beuren syndrome, a multisystem developmental disorder. There are two pseudogenes for this gene located in the same region of chromosome 7. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. NSUN5 — as a Regulated Gene

TFs regulating NSUN5 0 TFs

Transcription factors with Perturb-seq knockdown data for NSUN5. The Binding column indicates whether any binding evidence exists for this TF–gene pair (ChIP-seq or motif footprint peaks). The Mean coef is the average Perturb-seq regression coefficient across active gRNAs (positive = NSUN5 upregulated upon KD; negative = downregulated). The Outlier column indicates whether this gene is in the top or bottom 5% of all TF knockdown effects.

Elements linked to NSUN5

Open chromatin peaks (ATAC-seq) in the genomic neighbourhood of NSUN5, linked by TSS proximity or chromatin conformation (Multiome / HiCAR). Each element overlaps at least one TF ChIP-seq binding site — the TFs column shows how many distinct TFs bind that element.
