NAV3
neuron navigator 3 | KIAA0938, POMFIL1

This gene belongs to the neuron navigator family and is expressed predominantly in the nervous system. The encoded protein contains coiled-coil domains and a conserved AAA domain characteristic for ATPases associated with a variety of cellular activities. This gene is similar to unc-53, a Caenorhabditis elegans gene involved in axon guidance. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants for this gene have been described but only one has had its full-length nature determined. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

NAV3 — as a Regulated Gene

TFs regulating NAV3 0 TFs

Transcription factors with Perturb-seq knockdown data for NAV3. The Binding column indicates whether any binding evidence exists for this TF–gene pair (ChIP-seq or motif footprint peaks). The Mean coef is the average Perturb-seq regression coefficient across active gRNAs (positive = NAV3 upregulated upon KD; negative = downregulated). The Outlier column indicates whether this gene is in the top or bottom 5% of all TF knockdown effects.

Elements linked to NAV3

Open chromatin peaks (ATAC-seq) in the genomic neighbourhood of NAV3, linked by TSS proximity or chromatin conformation (Multiome / HiCAR). Each element overlaps at least one TF ChIP-seq binding site — the TFs column shows how many distinct TFs bind that element.
